CRASH INTO SEA
DUTCH BOMBING ’PLANE NINE LIVES LOST. Received Oct. 13, 8.5 p.m. SINGAPORE, Oct. 13. A Dutch naval bombing aeroplane crashed into the sea off Java. Nine are dead, including the commander, H. G. de Bruyne, who led the Dutch air contingent at the opening of the Singapore airport.
