U Was ’ he said ’ a P il Y th at the past season had not been a more suitable one for swimming and surf work, but members had done very well indeed. He suggested that during tiie coming season the committee might explore the possibility of running the Hackshaw Searle Shield cnampionships over two days, enabling some of the detail work to bo done on the Saturday. Burgess and the secretary; delegates to Royal Life. ? aV 2 ns - r S ° eiety ’ Messrs. Darbyshirc, Luff, Tasker and R. Gibb; club captain, Mr. T. Luff; vice-captains, Messrs. D. Guy and B. Tasker; hon. auditor, Mr. H. Hague Smith; hon. secretary, Mr. R. Gibb; hon. treasurer Mr. I. Burgess. It was left to the new committee to attend to the renewing of all equipment, and also to arrange for the installation of electric light at the club-house. The offer of a donation of a pair of blankets from Mr. R. Harrison was accepted with acclamation. The committee were empowered to take action with regard to the disposal of the Lord Nuffield gift of 125 suggestions being invited in this direc-’ tion.
The procuring of tramway passes was left to the chairman, captain and secretary.

It was intimated by the chairman that teams would be required to give demonstrations at various schools dur|ing the season, and that the executive planned a big drive in conjuncUon with the "Learn to Swim" Week, tribute was paid to the work of Mr. T. Anderson, custodian of tho Gonville baths, in pushing through a number of members for their bronze medallions, and the chairman expressed keen appreciation of the services rendered by Mr. Anderson.
