WOMEN TO TRAIN IN BRITAIN. Received Oct. 13, 11.55 p.m. LONDON, Oct. 13. Mrs. G. Cook, commandant of the Women's Legion of Motor Drivers, announces that the War Office has decided on the further training of women in readiness for war services in emergency. Regent’s Park barracks will be handed over to enable drilling in signalling, map-reading, anti-gas instruction, first aid, transport and engineering. An annual camp also will be held. The corps will be provided with an attractive uniform.
