KING AND QUEEN
RETURNING TO LONDON. ENTHUSIASTIC FAREWELL. [ British Official Wirelefis.l RUGBY, Oct. 11. Enthusiastic crowds cheered the King and Queen at Ballatter Station when they entrained for London after nearly 10 weeks’ sojourn at Balmoral Castle. Their Majesties were accompanied by the Duchess of Gloucester and Mr. A. Eden, Minister in attendance on the King.
A civic welcome will be accorded Their Majesties at Aberdeen where a 10-minutes halt will be made. Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret left Balmoral yesterday for Glamis Castle, where they will spend a week with their grandparents, Lord and Lady Strathmore.
