I Biiti.n Official Wireless.! RUGBY, Oct. 8. The Secretary for Scotland, Mr. Walter Elliot, speaking at Glasgow, said that 480,000 tons of commercial ships are under construction on the Clyde, in addition to the great programme of Admiralty work, comprising two battleships, four cruisers, 16 destroyers, and other vessels. This Admiralty work, he said, represented only one-third of the commercial tonnage Being built on the Clyde.
