HELD IN' SOVIET GAOL LONDON, May 28. The Daily Mail’s Warsaw correspondent learn that M. Yagoda (former Ogpu leader) last night was fatally shot in his cell at Moscow by his successor, Yegov. M. Yagoda had been given an opportunity to commit suicide but had refused. M. Yagoda’s former sweetheart, the actress, Mme. Wanda Rosendorf, tried to see him earlier, but was recognised, upon which she drew out her revolver and shot herself.
