PERSONAL The Rt. Rev. H. St. Barbe Holland, M.P., Bishop of Wellington, who‘has i been the guest of the Vicar of Bulls (Rev. B. R. White) has returned to Wellington. During His Lordship’s slay here he visited Rongotea and other parts of the district. Mr. J. Wightman, who underwent an operation in a private hospital in Palmerston North last week, is reported to be progressing favourably. Mr. V. Broughton, of Wellington, is spending his holidays with his parents in Bulls. REST ROOMS Over £lOO has been promised towards the erection and maintenance of a lady’s rest and Plunket rooms, and a further £lO has been allocated from Lord Nuffield’s contribution by the - Mayor of Wanganui. Several parts of the district have not been canvassed yet, and it is expected that country people (who receive most benefit from such institutions) will respond liberally.
