PRICES MAINTAINED LONDON, March 8. At the wool sales 9296 bales were offered, including 3204 from New Zealand, and 8234 were sold. The good selection sold at full rates, chiefly to the home trade. Withdrawals were mainly speculators’ greasy Merinos. New Zealand greasy Merino, Lansdowne, top price, 21. id, average 20d. The Bradford top market is firm, with a tendency against buyers. There is little business. Users are well covered and are reluctant to follow the rise. Yarns are firm.
