A Costly .Mistake. Because of the great similarity in colour size and design of the 150 Reserve Bank note and the 10s note the purchaser ot a email article in a Paeroa shop is out of pocket to the tune of £49 10s. He paid the £5O note over in mistake for a 10s note, neither he nor the shop assistant noticing the real value of the note. When, some considerable time afterwards, the purchaser learned of his mistake, he quickly returned to the shop, but much money had gone through the cash register, and the £5O note was not there, it having been given out as a 10s note in change.
