Brown, both from Auckland, and now will play H. A. Barnett, second ranking player in Canterbury, for the right t<» enter the final. The other semi-fin-alists are C. Angas (defending champion) and D. C. Coombe (Wellington). In the women’s singles semi-finals Miss Dulcie Nicholls (Wellington), New* Zealand champion, will meet Miss Irene Poole and Miss Thelma Poole will play Miss Margaret Beverley (Waikato). With continued good weather the tournament, in which practically all the competitors for the New Zealand championships are playing, should be completed to-morrow.
