BOXING AT AUCKLAND
MARTIN BEATS MUDGYVAY. [ Per Press Association. ) AUCKLAND, Dec. 27. One of the brightest boxing contests seen in Auckland for some time took place at the Town Hall on Saturday night. The participants were Billy Martin (Australia) and Neville Mudg- I way (Waihi). Twelve three-minute ! rounds were fought. Martin gained the decision on j points. This met with a mixed reception. Martin certainly had all the t better of the first half of the bout.
