MARCONI EXPERIMENTS
FIRE OCCURS ON SHIP ROME, Nov. 25. Signor Marconi was conducting mysterious wireless experiments aboard the Electra, anchored at Civita Vecchia, when a fire broke out and burnt fiercely until it was quelled by the fire brigades after several hours’ battle which was supervised by Signor Marconi, who was anxious for the safety of the valuable plant.
