J r DUNEDIN, Nov. 25. t At the final meeting for the year ot ? the Dunedin community singing com--1 mittee this afternoon it was disclosed that the receipts for 25 sessions 1 this year totalled £919 13s 4d, an in- - crease of £253 10s over the previous t year’s amount. After all expenses t were met £6OO was handed to the r Mayor’s Relief Fund. ? An indication of the growing popuj larity of the sings is given by the col- • lections for the six years in which community singing has been held in - Dunedin. In 1931 £74 was collected, i in 1932 £164, 1933 £399, 1931 £6OO, 1935 £666, 1936 £919.
