Out of 710 tested only seven gave any reaction and then the disease was found to be very slight and there was no question of danger to human health. , Commenting on the results of the test, Mr. D. A. It had been the department's objective as far as possib e to eliminate what signs there weie n the district before the disease obtained a firm hold. A close watch had been kept, particularly on pigs. It was the department's intention to te peat the test in about a year to ensure a continuance of the present happy state of affairs.
