A SUCCESSFUL DANCE. The Town Hall was well filled on i Tuesday night when the Parewanui School dance was held. In spite of wet, weather there were numerous patrons from Marton, Wanganui, Palmerston North, and even as far . afield as Wellington. Gedson’s Aces J were in fine form, and the duties of f M.'sC. were capably carried out by Messrs. Les Sanson and W. Hart, and Mrs. G. Crosland. The Monte Car’o . was won by Miss N. Kingham (Marton) and Mr. I. Simeon (Wellington’. * A splendid supper completed the mor. enjoyable and successful dance of the season. j BOWLING. ‘ Hunterville sent down seven players J to meet. Bulls yesterday in the tri- < angular competition, but. showers de- ' Jayed the start, and eventually only ten "heads” wore played. A gale of wind made good bowling impossible.
