SYDNEY WOOL SALES
MARKET VERY ANIMATED Received Nov. 24, 10.20 p.m. SYDNEY, Nov. 24. At the wool sales 12,667 bales were offered and 12,059 sold, also 1377 privately. The market was very animated, fleece wools ruling firm at yesterday's improved levels with a further advance of five per cent on skirtings. Yorkshire and the Continent competed freely and there was good support from America. Greasy Merino sold to 27.R1.
