JAPANESE BUDGET
SOP TO MILITARISTS ARMY AND NAVY TOKIO, Nov. 23. An unprecedented increase ot about 143,000,000 over the working Budget is shown in the £180,000,000 fixed Budget for the coming fiscal year. The statesmen have, however, succeeded in curbing the militarists’ clamour and have induced them to make cuts of £6,000,000 and £5,500,000 in the military and naval votes. The estimated deficit of £50,000,000 will be covered by bond issues.
