In reply <o a question, Mr. Anthony Eden said in the House of Commons that the undertaking given by the Government on February 3, 1935, that they consider themselves to be among the Powers which will consult together if the independence and integrity of Austria is menaced is still operative. The Powers in question are France, Italy, the United Kingdom, and Austria, with the possibility of an extension to other Powers.
