Mrs F. Faber has returned to Wanganui from New Plymouth. & - Mr and Mrs R. C. Lawrence arc Wanganui visitors to Wellington. # 4 1 4 1 Mr and Mrs R. D. Macßae, of Mangaweka, have been visiting Wei lingion. 4Mrs Hay Campbell has returned to Wanganui after spending a few daya at New Plymouth. 4 * Mr and Mrs G. W. Currie, Wicksteed Street, will return next week from a trip to England. 4* 4- 4* Mrs E. Macrae, Wanganui, left from Wellington at the week-end on a visit to her son, Dr. Bruce Macrae, East Africa. 41 41 41 Mrs D. Connor, Lifliton Street, returns home to-day after spending a lengthy holiday in Waikato and Auckland. -4 4-4' The Rt. Hon. Sir Basil Brooke, M.P., and Lady Brooke left England by the Orford on November 7, and will visit New Zealand. + 4Mrs V. Barker, of Gisborne, accompanied by Miss Muriel Barker, is visiting her daughter, Mrs Norwell Izard, St. John's Hill. 41 4- 4 s - The marriage of Lady Prudence Jellicoe and Mr Francis William Hope Loudon will take place at Holy Trinity, Sloane Street, on December 4; 4 Mrs M. Pairman, who has been visiting Wellington to attend an executive meeting of the Girl Guide Association, has returned to Mangaweka. 4-- 4-- 4’Mr and Mrs G. F. Newsome, who have been to England for a trip, returned to New Zealand by the Aorangi, which arrived at Auckland ond Monday, and are due in Wanganui to-day. 4-4 4'Wanganui friends will be interested to learn that. Mr J. Allen, formerly headmaster of the Collegiate School, and Mrs Allen, who are visiting England, have taken a cottage in Surrey for six months. 4 4 4 Miss G. Williams, dental nurse at the Keith Street School, has been transferred to a permanent position at the Central School in New Plymouth. and leaves on Monday to take up her new position. 4 4 4 News has been received in Wanganui of the death of Miss Mary Fairbairn, which took place recently at Edinburgh, where she had gone for a holiday. Miss Fairbairn was the first marton at the Collegiate School, and after many years in Wanganui went to St. Margaret's College in Dunedin.
