RESULT OF POSTAL BALLOT. PREFERENCE RIGHTS ALTERED. [Ter Press Association! WELLINGTON, Nov. 20. As a result of a postal ballot of preference shareholders of The Associated Motorists' Petrol Company, Ltd., on a resolution to alter the rights of preference shareholders by increasing the rate of preference dividend to 10 per cent, and cancelling special rights relating to the purchase of petrol, was announced to-day by the i chairman of directors, Mr. Charles Todd. Mr. Todd said that of Ihc b 86,825 votes cast, 80,817 were in favour of the resolution and 2418 against it. The invalid votes numbered 3590. The proposal was, therefore, carried.
