SUGAR CONFERENCE

PROSPECTS BRIGHTER UNITED STATES’ PART. LONDON, Nov. 5. The Associated Press is informed that as the result of the American election there are somewhat enhanced prospects of a sugar conference. The United States previously agreed to attend, but withdrew owing to the overthrow of the “New Deal” legislation, which vitally affected Augar. It is expected that she will M.cept the renewed invitation, but it is emphasised that the international situation is still the greatest obstacle to the conference.
