BRITISH ANALYSES THE MARKETING POLICY. [British Official Wireless) RUGBY, Oct. 17. The report of the Government Chemist for the year ended March 31 last reveals ways in which developments in agricultural marketing policy have multiplied the work of the department. Grading and marketing regulations for Stilton, Cheshire, and Cheddar cheese have resulted in examination of thousands of samples by the laboratory. Even the advent of "National Mark” watercress has brought extra work because the water from the beds has had to be examined chemically and bacteriologically. The total number of samples examined last year amounted to 546,279, ar. : ■ vase of 23,491.
