ON WANGANUI TRACKS CANDIDATES FOR TRENTHAM SATURDAY'S GALLOPS The Wanganui trainer, W. Rayner, intends leaving to-morrow tor Trentham with his team of four for the Wellington Racing Club’s spring meeting, which opens on Thursday. He will take Entail, Spiral, Imposture and Moquette, bufa fifth that is engaged at Trentham, Missal, is not likely to make the trip unless she makes a rapid recovery from a cold. W. Dwyer left last Thursday for Trentham with the Arausio filly Jolly, who is engaged in the Wellesley Stakes, but Icing, trained by Rayner, will not contest that event owing to having a cold. On Saturday morning Entail and ■ Spiral put up a pleasing display over six furlongs on number one track, taking Imin. 18sec. Imposture and Moquette slipped over four furlongs in 49 2-ssec., with little between them at the finish. Sanhedrim, Kourarua, and Parikino were associated in a spin over four furlongs, Parikino finishing just ahead of Sanhedrim in 51 3-ssec., with Kourarua several lengths back, after making the pace.
