INCREASED DIVIDEND

NATIONAL BANK OF AUSTRALASIA. The board of directors of the National Bank of Australasia Ltd. have decided to pay on November 25 an interim dividend on both classes of shares, for the half-year ended September 30 at the rate of 53 per cent, per annum. This advice was received on Friday by cable by the National Bank of New Zealand Ltd., which acts as agent in New Zealand for the National Bank of Australasia. The interim dividend shows a slight increase on the distribution of 51 per cent, made for the 12 months ended March 31 last. The dividend for several years was 5 per cent, per annum.
