In the final of the Miramar Ladies’ Golf Club’s open championship Mrs. 1 Foreman beat Mrs. Pearce, 6 and 4. Mrs. Foreman played magnificent golf throughout, going out in 39 to be 3 up at the turn. In the final of the Miramar Handicap Mrs. Welton Hogg beat Mrs. Farmer, 6 and 5. J | CASTLECLIFF WOMEN’S CLUB OPEN DAY TOURNEY. I Although the weather was cold and ! there was a stiff breeze some good scores were returned in the games played in the Castlecliff Women's Golf Club open tournament on Tuesday. Following are the results: — Morning Medal Round. I Senior. —Miss Dean, 97 (17), 80. I Junior. —Miss Clark 98 (20), 78. C Grade (12 holes).—Mrs. Hogg 77. Afternoon Stapleford Bogey Match. Senior. —Mrs Davis, 17 and 12, 29. Junior. —Mrs. Bogle, 8 and 27, 35. C Grade (medal over 12 holes).— Miss G. Rice 78. AT BELMONT LINKS / | OPEN DAY TO-MORROW During the week-end the Belmont links will be open to members of any golf club in a “benefit” tournament for the Sports Queen. A four-ball bogey match will be played in the morning and in the afternoons a mixed foursomes match and a fourball bogey match.
