“RADIO PRIEST”
FATHER COUGHLIN LEAVES BOSTON Received Oct. 14, 6.20 p.m. BOSTON, Oct. 14. Father Coughlin, the American radio priest, who stayed overnight to take up a personal grievance with a journalist, warning him that “I will tear him to pieces,” changed his mind and left to-day for New York, guarded by police armed with tear-gas bombs. Father Coughlin, who is coming back to Boston to-morrow, denied that . his departure was in any way connected with the arrival to-day of Cardinal Parcelli.
