WANGANUI MEN’S SHELTER
MANAGER’S REPORT The manager of the Wanganui men’s shelter reports that during the month there had been a slight increase in numbers—one inmate left and four were admitted. The repairs to the roof have been completed, three new 6ft. and 2ft. skylights supplied and fixed at a cost of £2 10s each. Donations wore gratefully received from Messrs Senior and Bennet., E. H. Baker, and City Meat Co. Monthly Cash Statement Income: Boarders’ fees, £22 3s 6d; cash forward, £45 7s 2d; total £67 10s Bd. Expenditure: Accounts paid and current expenses, £22 15s sd; cash in hand, £44 15s 3d; total £67 10s Bd. Beds occupied during the month, 418; beds occupied since opening, 20,505. Meals supplied during the montn, 1359; meals supplied since opening, 72,367. Several accounts were passed for payment.
