COLLEGIATE SCHOOL’S SPORTS
The elements were unkind yesterday for the concluding day of the Collegiate School annual sports. Heavy rain during the afternoon marred the enjoyment of onlookers, a large number of whom viewed the events from their cars, which were parked in the school grounds and on the road. As well as members of the college staff and their wives and many parents and friends in the Wanganui district, the following visitors were among those present: Mrs Birch (Wairarapa), Mrs Arkwright (Marton), Mrs Vallance (Wairarapa), Mr and Mrs Buchanan (“Hereworth” School, Hawke’s Bay), Mrs Harrison (Hastings), Mr and Mrs F.
