H.M.S. WAKAKURA ARRIVES. WAKAKURA, H.M.S., 290 tons (Imperial minesweper), Lieutenant K. H. J L. Phibbs, arrived at 2.25 p.m. from New Plymouth and berthed at the Castlecliff wharf. The vessel has R.N.V.R. ratings on board and is expeced to sail for Wellington at 3 p.m. to-day. STORM, s.s., 749 tons, Captain W. Williams, arrived at 12.42 a.m. from Picton and sailed for Wellington at 4.35 p.m. HERTFORD, t.s.s., Captain J. Bar-ton-Davies, completed the Wanganui portion of her Homeward loading yesterday afternoon and sailed for New Plymouth at 5.30 p.m. NIKAU, t.s.m.v., 248 tons, Captain MacMillan, was to have left Tarakofie at 10 p.m. for Wanganui. Tarakohe cement is expected at Wanganui to-day in the holds of the Anchor Company’s coastal motor-ship Nikau (248 tons). The Canterbury Company’s coastal motorship Breeze (622 tons), en route from Dunedin and way ports, has )>een delayed to continue her Wanganui loading at Wellington and Picton to-day. She is expected at Wanganui to-morrow. On completion of discharge, the vessel sails for Wellington, thence Port Chalmers for her annual overhaul and survey. (Millward and HAUTURU DUE TO-MORROW. HOLMDALE TO-MORROW. En route from Dunedin, Holm and Company's coastal steamer Holmdale (681 tons) is scheduled to continue her Wanganui loading at Wellington and Picton to-day. The vessel is due at Wanganui to-morrow. After discharge at the Town Wharf she sails for Wellington and southern ports. (Holm and Co.). KAITOA FROM WESTPORT. The Anchor Company’s coastal steamer Kaitoa (319 tons) is expected at Wanganui on Saturday with a cargo of Westport coal. (Cock and Co.). GALE DUE SUNDAY. With general cargo from Bluff and way ports, the Canterbury Company’s coastal motor-ship Gale (600 tons) is scheduled to continue her Wanganui load'ng at Oamaru and Timaru to-day, Lyttelton to-morrow and at Wellington on Saturday. The vessel is expected at Wanganui on Sunday. After discharge at the Town Wharf on Monday she will sail for Wellington and southern ports. (Millward and Co.). STORM FOR SOUTH. The Canterbury Steam Shipping Company’s steamer Storm (749 tons) discharged southern cargo at Wanganui yesterday and was to have sailed for Wellington and southern ports. She is scheduled to load at Dunedin on Saturday. Oamaru and Timaru Monday, Lyttelton Tuesday and at Wellington and Picton on Wednesday. The Storm is due at Wanganui again on Thursday, October 15. (Millward and Co.). OVERSEAS VESSELS. (To Berth at Castlecliff.) THE OMANA. The Union Company’s intercolonial freighter Omana (2552 tons) loaded at Melbourne I earlier in the week and completes at Edithburg and Adelaide. She is expected to leave South Australia towards the end of the week with general cargo for discharge at Bluff. Dunedin, Lyttelton, Wellington, Wanganui and New Plymouth. (Millward and Co.), THE DESSAU. With sulphur for Messrs. Kempthorne, Prosser and Co., Ltd., the steamer Dessau left Galveston on Augwst 25 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin ar.d Wanganui. The vessel is due at Auckland next Sunday, and at Wanganui toward the end of this month. THE KALINGO. The Union Company’s intercolonial steamer Kalingo (2047 tons. Captain C. Ostenfeld) was to have left Wellington yesterday for Westport and Greymouth to load for Sydney. She will then load at Newcastle on October 26, and Sydney on October 27, for New Plymouth and Wanganui. The vessel is due at Castlecliff early in November. (Millward and Co.). HOMEBOATS DUE (To Load in Roadstead.) THE CUMBERLAND. The Federal freighter Cumberland (10.938 tons) is due to arrive at Wellington to-day from London, via Auckland. On completion of discharge she will sail for Wanganui to commence her Homeward loading. The vessel is due in the roadstead about October 13. From Wanganui she proceeds to New Plymouth, Wellington and Auckland: thence November 4 to London. Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow. (Burgess and Co.) THE PORT FREMANTLE. The Port Line freighter Port Fremantle (8072 tons) is expected in the Wanganui' roadstead on or about October 12 from Bluff and Lyttelton. After loading produce she sails on October 13 for Napier, Gisborne and Auckland. The vessel is to clear the last-named port on October 28 for London, via Cape Horn. FROM THE SHIP’S LOG. THE WANGANELLA The Huddart-Parker liner Wanganella (10.000 tons) is scheduled to leave Auckland to-day for Sydney and Melbourne. (Millward and Co.). THE MARIPOSA. The Mariposa (18,000 tons) arrived at Sydney from Auckland at 9.10 o’clock on Monday morning. After calling at Melbourne she is to leave Sydney on October 14 and Auckland on October 17 for Los Angeles and San Francisco, via Island ports. THE MANJU MARU. The steamer Manju Maru (5863 tons) is scheduled to arrive at Auckland from Japan, via Noumea, on October 18. After discharging and loading at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin she will proceed from Dunedin direct to Japan. THE MATAROA. The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Mataroa (12,333 tons) cleared Southampton at five o’clock on Friday evening for Auckland and Wellington. She is due at Auckland on November 7. THE AWATEA. The Awatea (14,000 tons) arrived at Sydney from Wellington at 7.55 o'clock on Monday morning. The vessel will leave to-mor-row for Wellington and Auckland. She is due at Wellington on Monday and at Auckland the following Thursday. She leaves Auckland for Sydney direct on October 16. MAGDALENE VINNEN SOLD. The German four-masted auxiliary barque Magdalene Vinnen has been sold to the North German Lloyd to be used as a training ship. She has been renamed Kommodore Johnsen. She is a vessel of 3476 tons and was built by the Krupps Shipbuilding Company at Kiel in 1921. She visited Auckland in February, 1933. THE BENHOLM. The Benholm (5026 tons) cleared Sydney. Cape Breton, on September 26, in continuation of her voyage from Montreal to Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland about November 4. KAURI'S ITINERARY. The Union Company's new motor-ship Kauri (2400 tons) is scheduled to load at Edithburg, Adelaide and Melbourne early in November for Auckland and Napier.
