LABOUR DAY MEETING FOXTON ACTIVITIES The Foxton United Sports Association will hold its annual motor-cycle races on the Foxton Racecourse on Monday, October 26 (Labour Day). An attractive programme of eight races, with £1 per lap in each race for the winner, also the Foxton Challenge Cup of seven miles should induce all leading speed merchants to face the starter. The N.Z. Lightweight Championship, for machines up to 350c.c. of eight miles, is endowed with prize money of £l7 and a silver cup; also the Manawatu Middleweight Championship, for machines over 350c.c. and up to 500c.c. (seven miles), are the chief events. All entries must be accompanied by 10s and the last three performances, and close on Saturday, October 10, at Bpm with Mr J. L. Christie, secretary, P.O. Box 47, Foxton, from whom programmes and ?ntry forms can be obtained.
