GENERAL The borough employees have wired up over 50 lighting and 10 heating points at Perham Larsen settlement ready for connection. The low tension reticulation at. Rangataua, has been commenced and preparations have been made for an extension ol the high tension. Owing to the succession of gales experienced this winter electric pol?b and wires have had a severe testing. The engineer states that a fairamount of maintenance will be required as soon as possible. The electrical engineer has made tentative arrangements for the supply of electric ranges to consumers on the hire purchase system.
