In the past this function has e always been a great social success and there is every prospect, of tne forths coming function eclipsing pa«t efforts. » It is the intention of the club to do- - nate half the proceeds to the new bail re-building 1' nd ON THE MINIATURE RANGE I On Monday evening the Sandon i Miniature Rifle Club held a series of handicap matches for the Nash and 1 “Bullseye” Cups. The Nash Cup was ’ for the Handicap aggregate, while the - ‘‘Bullseye” Cup was for the best score • off the gun. The winner of the cups ■ proved to be J. C. Fagan but as under the conditions no rifleman 1 could take both cups E. Green, who - was runner-up in the “Bullseye” Cup. together with K. Pearce, won only
after a shoot-off with the last named. The first match of seven shots was won by R. Lumsden with 70, J. Palmer being second and J. Fagan third. Three with 69 were counted out. The second match of ten shots was won by J. Fagan with 100, K. Pearce (100) being second and K. Masters (100) being third. Three 99’s were counted out. The third match, seven shots, was won by R. Meyer with 70. R. Lumden (70) 2. and J. Fagan (70) 3. Seven with 69 were counted out. Detailed results: — Nash Cup, handicap aggregate, three matches: J. Fagan (239) 1, K. Pearce 2, K. Masters 3, Keith Lumsden (236) 4. “Bullseye” Cup: E. Green (234, shoot-off 70) 1. K. Pearce (231, shoot - off 66) 2. Keith and Ken Lumsden (23?) equal 3. The Jenkins Buttons for the shoot were won as follow: A grade. R. Lumsden; B grade, E. Green; C. grade, K. Henson.
