i VERDICT IN WARDROBE CASE t SYDNEY, Aug. 24. The coroner, after an inquiry into the death of Mabel Goodman, whose body was found in a wardrobe in a block of flats near the harbour’bridge, returned a verdict that she was murdered by William Arthur Scott, who afterward committed suicide by drowning in the harbour. Evidence was given that Miss Goodman was at one timj a domestic servant at the Governor-General’s residence at Canberra. It was also stated ) that Scott occupied a room in the i building where her body wKs found.
