CONTINUOUS RAIN
FLOODING IN SOUTHERN N.S.W. CONTRACTOR DROWNED Received July 27, 11.5 p.m. SYDNEY, July 27. Heavy continuous rain in southern New South Wales as well as Victoria caused floodings in some Riverina towns. Arthur Syrett, a local contractor, was drowned to-day when his sulky was overturned in the flooded Bong Bong crek at Koorawatha.
