COUNTRY GIRLS

EDUCATIONAL WEEK. Yesterday the girls attending the W.D.F.U. Educational Week spent an interesting day. During the morning a physical culture talk was given by Air. Nolan, who showed exercises. In the afternoon there was an instructive demonstration of pattern fitting, cutting ou and fitting of a frc-ck by the D.J.C., and afterwards the girls were the guests of the D.I.C. management at afternoon tea. In the evening the visitors were entertained at an enjoyable picture programme at the Regent Theatre. When the girls visited the Southern Cross biscuit factory they were conducted through the building by Mr. Hope Gibbons and Air. Bigneli, and each girl was presented with a small tin of biscuits.
