WANGANUI ASSOCIATION TO-DAY’S FIXTURE The Wanganui Hockey Association’s 1936 competitions will be continued on Gonville Park this afternoon, the first games being timed to commence at 2 p.m. sharp. In the men’s senior A section three contests will he decided. Katana meets Hinemoa A, Wesley is to decide the issue with Technical A, and Hinemoa B will contest the lauiels with Y.M.C.A. For the third time this season the recently-organised junior grade competitions will be played. Matches in this section have been attracting considerable attention among the younger players in the men’s division. As on previous Saturdays, three games will be decided, the fixtures being as follow: —Technical B v. Gonv'.’lr, Technical C v. Tawhero, and Castle, liff v. Intermediate. The ladies’ section should provide some interesting games. Old Girls will meet Putiki. Gonville O\l Gills will play Kaiwhaiki, and Katana ;s to play Technical Old Girls. These fixtures are scheduled for Gonville Par?:. The College grounds at Wanganui East will be the location of two games Girls’ College B will meet Kauanga v oa, ami Girls’ College A will play Technical College.
