SISTER TO DUCHESS
LADY ANGELA DAWNEY ARRIVAL IN NEW ZEALAND ( Per Press Association. ) WELLINGTON. June 17. The youngest daughter of the late Duke of Buccleugh and a sister of the Duchess of Gloucester, Lady Augela Dawney, arrived to-night in Wellington by the Imcr Mataroa from London. She was with her husband LieutenantCommander I’. Dawney, who has come out to join the New ZeaianJ Division uf the Royal Navy. Looking very charming in a nav* blue travelling costume, a little blue hat with a white bow, and a fawn overcoat, Lady Angela Dad little to say on arrival. It was her first arrival to New Zealand and the thousand lights of Wellington spanning over the water held her attention and obviously made an impression. Lieutenant - Commander Dawney stated that he had been in the Dominion before as an officer cd 11.M.5. Renown. He and his wife expected to leave Wellington to-morro, v for Auckland, whence he was to sail on Tuesday to join the cruiser Dunedin at Suva on her winter •cruise to the Islands. Ladv Angela would probably stay at Auckland. They had found the voyage out agreeable, having had a smooth passage. Captain L. Vaughan Morgan, of the New Zealand Naval Board, met them at the wharf
