Prisoners sentenced at the Supreme Court before Mr. .Justice Reed wore: Moss A\ylie, dentist, aged 28, for reckless driving causing death and three charges of causing bodily injury, )5 months’ reformative detention, his licence being cancelled for five years; James Baxter, aged 34, police constable, on seven charges of breaking, entering, theft and breaking and entering, four years’ gaol; William Edward Cleaver, aged 56, nightwatchman, for breaking, entering and theft, two years’ gaol; Martin Peraniko, alias Bobbey Martin, farm labourer, for breaking, entering, theft and theft from a dwelling, two years’ probation; Charles George Riddall, aged 33, for breaking and entering by night with intent to commit a crime, two years’ probation; Stephen Francis Yeary, alias John Foley, alias James Driscott, aged 36, for theft from a dweL ling, 12 months’ hard labour; Franko Marcovina, for making a false declaration. was fined £lO, in default six months’ gaol; Sylvia Mary Flynn, aged 22, domestic, on charges of making a false oath, was ordered to come up in two years.
