BROUGHTON CENTENARY
■ PREPARATORY SUNDAY I DOMINION BISHOPS PREACH. SYDNEY. May 24. To-day being tne preparatory Sunday for the Bishop Broughton centenary celebrations, the first Anglican Bishop in Australia. Dr. Averill, Primate of New Zealand, preached at St. James’ Church in the city this morning and at St. Andrew's Cathedral, Sydney, in the evening. Also, with other visiting Bishops, he addressed a special Empire service this afternoon at the Cathedral Bishop Hilliard, of Nelson, preached at St. John's Ashfield. in the morning and at St. Thomas’ at Rozellc in the c vening.
