, A UNIQUE DEMONSTRATION [ The service General Motors give to | motorists is aptly demonstrated in the spare parts and accessories display which is being held at H. 8. Harman, j Ltd., Victoria. Avenue, until this evening inclusive. Harman’s are an oldestablished firm in the city occupying up-to-date central premises, particulariv suited to a demonstration of this nature, and their management have been exceedingly liberal and energetic in giving just that touch of attractiveness and refinement to the display that makes its success assured. Visitors are cordially invited to attend at their ieis. ure and anv queries or suggestions will be welcomed. Mounted on a. trailer in a manner which makes close inspection easy are samples of G-M. parts which motorists may have occasion to require.. Genera] Motors stress the fact that users of their cars get a reliable service in the replacement of worn parts by fittings manufactured in the factory, and, the exhibit is travelling through New Zealand to demonstrate how important it is for motorists to insist upon the replavement of genuine G-AI. spare?. The accessory section of the exhibit demonstrates delightfully how the thoughts of motor engineers have turned to the perfecting of many accessories which, when fitted to the car, ■n-eatlv add to the comfort and convenience of driving. Many people taite a great, pride in their cats, and little fittings are now available which add ■charm to the car and raise a standard model a little out of the ruck of generally accepted appearance. The range of accessories is very wide. They are special glare shades with a mirror on , the reverse side, cigarette lighters of various types, including one which delivers the cigarette ready lighted, and hot water heater with fan circulating the air. Specially designed seat covers ' which protect the standard upholstery, . a benzine tank cap with lock, ventilated cushion which removes the over- ’ heated effect so unpleasant, when sit- ’ ting at tho wheel on long journeys, and '. ornamental knobs for gear and brake [ levers are amongst the manv fittings on 5 view. The G.AT. Delco car radio is also displayed in two models, Hie fiye-valvc - “Single” unit and the six-valve • “Two” unit. i A Chevrolet car, with many of the • accessories in use, is also part of - demonstration which is under the direG- - tion of Air H.
