Mistakes in simple addition by a University examiner in music, have led tile executive committee of the New Zealand University Senate to stand him a.-ide for at least two years. The committee reported to the Senate that all entrance examination scripts had been returned to the University office and the additions checked in selected scripts in each subject. Jn the case of music many errors were discovered and the committee resolved that the examiner should not act again before 1938. The committee also mentioned that in 1933 the French scripts has been re marked and two additional e.-iri'iLmt!■- had I passed.
