FITTING CELEBRATION

STATE OF NEW SOUTH WALES. HUNDRED AND FIFTIETH ANNIVERSARY. • Received Jan. 16, 11.40 p.m. SYDNEY. Jan. 16. The State Cabinet warmly approved proposals that the Government should take charge of arrangements to ensure that the celebration of the hundred and fiftieth anniversary of New South Wales in 1938 be on a scale worthy of the occasion. It also approved the principle that the State make a direct contribution towards the cost of the celebration-.
