Britain’s Defence Estimates CABINET CONFERENCES GERMAN REARMAMENT {By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyiighfj LONDON, Jan. 15. The Sun-Herald says the Government has lately been increasingly disturbed by the unceasing expansion of German armaments. Consequently the defence estimates shortly being announced may prove rather a shock to the nation. The fact that Mr. Baldwin, with the senior Ministers and chiefs of the Defence Forces, held long meetings on two successive days followed by a full Cabinet meeting to-day, solely dealing with Imperial defence, is regarded as an indication of the Government’s concern.
