Palmer topped the score off the rifle with 49 out of a total of 50. The system of automatic handicapping has been adopted by the club this year, with the consequence that there will be no limits to any of the ranges. Rifleman R. Mr. and Mrs. Tompkins, and Miss K. Tompkins, Hamilton, arc spending a few days with Miss Tompkins, Plunket Rooms. Mrs. W. Paterson leaves on a visit to her parents in Timaru, early in the New Year.
