AUSTRALIAN WHEAT
SALES TAX ON FLOUR GOVERNMENT’S DECISION CANBERRA, Dec. 3. The sales tax of £2 12s 6d per ton on flour is to be continued for a further six months to provide for the financial assistance for wheatgrowers until the Commonwealth plan for the home consumption price for wheat can be brought into operation-.
