ALLEGED UNPROFESSIONAL ACTS GETS LEAVE FROM ARMY TO DEFEND HIMSEiJ? LONDON, Nov. 30. Sir Albo Castellani, who obtained leave, from the Italian army in North East Africa to answer charges of unprofessional conduct at his Harley Street rooms, was cleared by .the General Medical Council after a two-day inquiry. The specific allegations were not revealed by the Council, despite Castellani’s request for a public hearing. Accepting the view that, as much of the evidence to be given by a woman would be of r a particularly embarrassing nature, the proceedings should be in eamei-a, the Council dismissed the charges which it held were not proved.
