GAOL FOR BUSHMAN. ACTIONS WHILE DRUNK. Pleading guilty to a charge of behaving in a disorderly manner in Victoria Avenue on November 30 while drunk Paul Zimmerman, labourer and bushman, aged 48 years, appeared before Mr. J. H. Salmon, 8.M., in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday. Accused was also charged with using obscene language in Victoria Avenue. On the first charge he was sentenced to fourteen days’ imprisonment and on the second charge to a month’s gaol, the terms to be concurrent. SeniorSergeant L. R. Capp said accused had mauled two women in the Avenue and when he was ordered out of a restaurant he had used the language conv plained of.
