YOUNG BOY INJURED
KNOCKED DOWN BY VAN As the result of being knocked down by a van in Victoria Avenue near the Selwyn Buildings at nine o’clock on •Saturday morning, Edward Read, aged 12 years, of Patapu Street, Wanganui East, was admitted to the "Wanganui Hospital by the St. John Free Ambulance. The injured boy, who received a fractured collar-bone, passed a comfortable night and is reported to be in a. aaliiifaxujr-w comlitiam.
