LAWN TENNIS The ladies of the Waverley Lawfc Tennis and Croquet Club held a meeting on Tuesday, November 12, to dis j cuss arrangements for the tournament at Waverley in January. Atn entertainment committee, was chosen, with Airs Graves as president. A dainty afternoon tea was served in the. pavilion. The official opening of the club will be held on Saturday, November 16. PERSONAL Airs G. Lupton and Aliss Af. Lupto# have returned to Waverley after spend- . ing a few days in Wanganui. Among Waverley competitors in the Wanganui Show arc Alisses A. Graham, Walkinton, AT- Brewer, M. Alexander, and J. Luke, who are all competing in the riding event’s.
