THE FEILDING SALE. HIGH PRICES FOR BEEF. [ Per Press Association. ] FEILDING, Sept. 27. Record prices for fat cattle, ox going to 30s, and cow to almost the same price per lOOlbs., were realised at today’s Feilding sale. Dairy cattle were up 30s a head on the previous level. There was a dull sale for store sheep, but a firm sale for fat sheep. Fat Sheep.—Primo heavy hoggels, woolly, 28s; prime lighter, to 25s 4d; prime shorn, average, 21s to 22s 6<l; inferior lines 16s .10'1; prime heavy woolled ewes, 235; prime lighter, to 20s 3d; shorn. 16s Io 18s; light, from Ils Gd; blackfaces, l.'s 4d; prime heavy wethers, to 27s 6d; light, to 23s 9d; inferior, 17s 6d. Store Sheep.—Ewe hoggets, good quality, 26s Id to 295; fair, 21s 6d to 23s 8d; wether hoggets, good skins, to 22s 9d; average about 18s 8d; poorer, from 15s; ewes with lambs, all courited, 12s 3d to 13s Gd; ewes with lambs. 23s 9d.
